Shooting Information
Cherokee offers four shooting ranges for it's members. The Lower Rifle & Pistol Range has seven postions and four shooting berms at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. This range requires a minimum target distance of 25 yards for pistols and 75 yards for rifles. Shooters desiring shorter practice distances should use the Upper Range. The Upper Rifle & Pistol Ranges has 17 shooting positions. The first permanent berm is at 100 yards. Both of these ranges have covered shooting platforms.
A Lower 5 positon Trap Range is adjacent to the clubhouse, and the Upper 5 postion Trap & Skeet Range has lighting allowing shooting until 10 p.m.
