RULES FOR THE LOWER RIFLE AND PISTOL RANGE
- Range hours are from daylight to dark, Monday through Saturday.
- Range hours for Sunday are 12:00 noon until 5:00 P.M.
- Firing of shot guns on the lower range is strictly prohibited.
- All hand gun targets must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) yards from the firing shed. This will help prevent ricochets into the club house and lawn mower shed. Targets must be placed in front of the firing berms.
- If you want to shoot handguns less than 25 yards you must shoot on the upper range.
- Shooting at glass and/or metal targets is prohibited.
- Class 3 / Full automatic and simulated full automatic firing is prohibited.
- All rifle targets must be a minimum of seventy-five (75) yards from the firing shed to help prevent ricochets into the buildings. Targets must be placed in front of firing berms.
- Each member is allowed to bring one guest twice in one year. After that, the guest is required to submit an application for membership to the club, or not come back again in that calander year.
- Members are responsible for picking up their own trash and target materials.
- If you shoot plastic bottles and/or jugs, pick up the pieces after you finish shooting. Leave the range clean and looking good for the next shooter.
- Do not load your firearm until you are on the firing line.
- Keep all loaded firearms pointing down range at all times.
- If you have a malfunction, misfire, or other problems with your firearms, keep the muzzle down range and towards the ground in that direction so you won't shoot through the roof.
- All shooting must stop when someone is down range, wait for the all-clear signal.
- Hearing protection must be worn when on the range. Eye potection is recommended.
- Report any unsafe or dangerous acts to the board of directors, or any range officer. Get a license number if possible.
- Violation of club rules and range rules will result in disciplinary action by the board of directors and possible expulsion from the club with the loss of dues and club benefits.
